Samaritan’s Purse International Relief has ultimately one goal: to help those in desperate need while sharing God’s love. For over fifty years, Samaritan’s Purse has gone to countries in need of aid who are suffering, sick, and poor. Their goal is to meet the needs of people who are victims of war, disease, famine, and natural disasters.

 

One of their most well-known projects is “Operation Christmas Child,” where volunteers pack shoeboxes filled with toys and deliver them to children in need across the globe. This project has allowed millions of children in over 170 countries and territories to receive Christmas gifts and hear about the gospel!

Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization that provides spiritual and physical aid to people hurting around the world. Their ministry is all about Jesus. People often ask why they go to these countries and they always respond with, “We have come to help you in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.”
